Omg a little hummingbird just visited my Mexican Sunflower!!! It stayed for quite some time, probing the flower head almost with the strength of a woodpecker! It probed and drank for a good 3 minutes before being scared off by a passing car. When it flew off, drops of nectar fell from its beak!
