Hackers have compromised Canvas, the learninge management system used to teache college courses. The hackeres have made the system slow, inefficient, unresponsyve, and yn manye cases ympossible to use. Studentes and Professors so far have not noticed any difference.

Today I facilitated two workshops on #Neurodivergence, and my resounding takeaway is that people are more aware of their need for, and even hungry for, information to build more inclusive educational cultures. That's a big, big win, in case you were needing good news today.

I've tried many forms, but my favorite would probably be called collaborative grading, where Ss mostly drive the assignment of their grade, in consultation with (and after discussion with) me. I give feedback regularly, but Ss should be in charge of assessing their actual learning. #UngradingChat

If you teach large classes, like 100’s of students, highly recommend this episode of #TeaForTeaching. Great details about choreography of active learning. Excellent advice about assessment, like giving students choice about who to work with, what to write about, and who to write for.
