Today after the Eucharistic service, my church held a farewell reception for me to send me off to Seminary of the Southwest. They even had cookies printed with my dog’s face on it which made them extra sweet ⚓️

Last night I got to participate in Rogation Day at my church, the first time I had done so. The congregants and clergy walked to various points on our church campus, read a scripture, prayed a blessing, then moved on to the next point, followed by Eucharist. It was a sweet service! #CreationCare ⚓

My dad died of COPD after a couple of really difficult final years. 1-2 packs a day. My mom died 3 months later. Just under 1 pack a day for her.
