As much as I complain about my current ACA plan, AT LEAST IT EXISTS. I was born with a heart defect, and while it’s been long fixed with surgery, it was considered a pre-existing condition by insurers. Before Obamacare, getting coverage was a ridiculous slog. And that was when I was much younger.

I would like one of these people to experience a low-end health plan, the kind with sky-high deductibles and co-pays…the kind that only makes sense after a catastrophe. Many people don’t use their health care unless it’s absolutely necessary. It’s just too expensive and too much of a hassle.
