Backrooms (2026) A visually arresting movie that I feel like doesn't have enough oomph for all the set up. In college my fraternity, Pi Lamda Phi, was the queer punk house. We pledged "Freaks, Females, F*gs, and Foreigners" very proudly. We had lesbians and trans men living in the house at all times. When UPenn tried to shut us down we pointed out that we were the only house without rape accusations.

10 hours into Control Resonant and I am having a great time but it is not without some issues that are holding it back from greatness. I've had two nice meaty play sessions since clearing the prologue and opening credits and I think that mostly they've done it again but the opening act is a slog.

I spent my 20s very preoccupied with sex but also having kind of a lot of it (lots of relationships//worked in a sex club//lots of slutty friends who liked casual sex) but my read on Zoomers is that they aren't afraid of sex as much as they just don't have the same concept of intimacy as older gens.
