I am angry tonight. Because tonight ICE shot a New Yorker. They shot a New Yorker while his five year old child was in the car. ICE makes this city less safe. We want them out. Now.

A large flock of sheep is being guided by a shepherd along an asphalt road in Albania. In the background, a large, striking mountain peak rises under a clear blue sky. A white van approaches the herd from the left lane.

a David Bowie cover called "Always Fishing on the Same Lake" but, do you blame me. i'm pretty much always set up to come to this one with minimal prep. even if it's just for an hour and a half at the end of the day

A still mountain lake in early evening on a cloudless October day, the shoreline surrounded by forest (mostly fir trees). The snowless mountain peak and the tops of the trees at the far end of the lake are lit up reddish gold by the setting sun. The rise-ring of a feeding trout is visible as a short bright line on the water's surface just below the base of the mountain

This contagious claim that under the NDP BC has become 'the highest taxed province' is nonsense. Provincial own-source revenue as share of GDP is 4th lowest among the provinces, and below the Canadian weighted average. #bcpoli /2

Yeah again this is incorrect. Mainstreet gave the Conservatives a 2.7% vote lead, well within the margin of error, and were within 1 seat of their predictions for MLAs elected I get that lots of people only remember polls that are incorrect, but you're doing yourself a disservice with this stuff

Jen Gerson with more truth bombs: “Voting to leave is not sending a message to Ottawa. It’s sending a message to Washington.” “The message is this: Canada is weak, regionally divided, and can be turned on itself for America’s benefit. Ultimately, that message hurts all of us, including Albertans.”

Nine years ago today, I met my soul dog, and with no plans before that to get a dog, I took her home. I had the adoption forms filled out before I even called my husband. We observe this day as her birthday too, and today marks her 11th year. Every day she is with us is a gift. Our precious girl. 🐾❤️

So yeah, that interesting flock of birds -- the route to a beach i wanted to check out took me on a road that ran behind the Comox Airport & ... damn i had no idea RCAF 19 Wing had a whole outdoor aviation museum there. It's FREE & the first bird to greet you is this CF-101B Voodoo 😻

McDonnell-Douglas CF-101B Voodoo supersonic jet fighter #030, belonging to the Royal Canadian Air Force 19 Wing based in Comox, BC, now part of its Heritage Aviation Park. Mostly head-on view showing the triangular jet intakes in its "wingpits" and the red & white striped spike coming out of its nose. its livery is pale grey with the old red & white RCAF lightning bolt

More of a side view of CF-101B Voodoo jet fighter 030, showing the RCAF roundel (red maple leaf on white inside a blue circle) on its tail, ahead of the Canadian flag, is another roundel with the black hawk's head of 409 Tactical Fighter Squadron ("Nighthawks"). they were based at Comox until 1984 when they transfered operations to Cold Lake, Alberta & began flying CF-18s
