People in creative fields who use AI to do stuff in other creative fields (example: writers using AI to make book covers instead of hiring artists) really just think their creative field is the only valid one. They don't respect other creative works, and likely only see themselves as valid.

I'm supposed to post about wargaming once in a while, so I've started putting together a frame for a gaming table that can be folded down for transport/storage. It's not going to be freestanding, but should be able to sit on any other (sturdy) table and turn it into a 6x4' gaming surface.

For eff's-sake, "third spaces" are not a viable option. You cannot expect every shopping centre, cafe, 13thC pub, park toilet, etc to remodel for a insane solution to an non-existent problem. The only concievable outcome of this would be nearly everywhere having to declare their toilets unisex.

I recently wrote to my MP regarding the UK's Online Safety Act. My full e-mail is too long to share here, but one complaint I bought up was that legislation with an cost of implementation *heavily* favours big platforms, and handing them more power is actively dangerous to kids. 1/3

QTP with powerful women. (I don't post a lot of my renders here, because I'm not sure if the people who've followed me for my very occasional wargaming posts have any interest in the other weirdness that leaks out of my brain, but I'm going to jump on this post chain).

A 3D render that on the surface appears to be a group of fantasy adventurers fighting a horde of skeletons in a village of wooden buildings. The adventurers are made up of a female centaur barbarian in a chainmail bikini, succubus artificer in a long coat and a minotaur wizard in a slightly revealing robe.

On closer inspection, the centaur barbarian is wearing modern frameless spectacles and rubber soled shoes, the succubus is using a nerf gun, and the "skeletons" are themselves other mythological races (including a dwarf, gorgon, orc and another centaur) wearing skeleton masks and printed spandex suits, and wielding dull plastic swords.

A number of Nerf darts and mini footballs are strewn about the floor, and a 747 is vaguely visible in the sky behind.

A few of the photos I never got around to uploading from "The Pebblebeach Parahelion" 54mm Inquisitor event down in Brighton back in December. (Poor internet connection on the day, then got wiped out for two weeks by a flu I caught on the train home).
