Interesting finds while helping mom empty out a storage container she's had full of antiques for along time. I kept the Sears portable TV/Radio from 1983 and a neighbor bought the huge cabinet Magnavox TV/Radio/Record player.

a portable Sears TV-Radio model 580 built in 1983. It has a tiny CRT TV on the left side, slider switches in the center and plastic round dials on the right. On top are buttons to switch between VHF lo/VHF Hi and UHF for the TV. A collapsible antenna sticks out from the back right. Not seen is the cavernous hole where you could stuff 10 D batteries making it truly "portable"

Guy yelled at me this morning because he didn’t want to stop for me in the crosswalk. Like slowed down to yell at me… …friends he was driving a beat up Sentra with no plates. So I yelled back that he was too broke to afford an Altima. He threw the brakes on for a moment before cowering away.

Skydive Coach Rating course last weekend. Only 2 of us were able to get both eval jumps in because the wind was really fucky. Check out my pilot chute and how I was tossed left and right when landing.

In the DS9 episode Take Me Out to the Holosuite, they made Rom left handed because his actor, Max Grodenchik, played baseball in college and in the minor leagues. He couldn't make his body play baseball badly, so they had him play with his off hand so Rom could be convincingly bad at the game.
