3 years ago today the Venite app glitched out one of the readings and it made it all the more ominous lol ⚓️

a reading from the second letter of Peter, but the venite app wasnt sure which letter to capitalize and put in a fancy font. so instead it gave an entirely capitalized scrambled messy version of the reading with about half of the letters randomly in a fancy font.

the reading is especially intense too making it freakier

one thing I’m learning about the collects of the BCP is that if you pray them regularly enough: 1.) they will come unbidden when needed; and 2.) your spontaneous prayers will take the shape of the collects, and that, in turn, gives a steadiness in prayer that calms people in crisis
