iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Probably burned my remaining bridges in the business, but I recently put out a statement regarding the increasing use of “generative AI” in British indie wrestling.

I’ve seen more and more promotions and wrestlers using generative AI, some of whom I work with, and I want to make something VERY clear:

I do not give anybody permission to use my likeness in any AI-generated posters, promos, clips, etcetera, and I consider any such use to be a personal and professional violation.

Do not feed me to a tech company’s algorithm. They’ve stolen enough of my writing and video material for their “AI training” already. That’s how Alleged Intelligence works, by the way - it’s a plagiarism tool, regurgitating every shred of “content” fed to it.

Leaving aside the horrific impact AI data centers have on the environment, you’re not creating anything by typing prompts into a box. Why should anyone be impressed with some cool photoshoot, promo, or move when you didn’t really do it? At best, Alleged Intelligence is self-insert reality fanfic and it makes wrestling truly live up to its reputation as fake.

I won’t try to sway you away from it, but I hope you reconsider and really look into AI. Whatever you do, leave me out of it.

Commander Sterling.

American Psycho is one of those movies that, you know, I saw it once, I'm glad I saw it and appreciate most memes made in reference to it, but if someone brings it up inorganically to praise it (and dunk on other movies in the process) that feels like a red flag.

Watching Kamen Rider Agito for the first time; so far I think the show is pretty good about balancing the A, B, and C, Plots by allocating them to 3 different Riders so the show is neatly paced, I just wish the suit acting was more expressive for more than just the 'berserker rider'.

I might be putting too many eggs (heh) in one basket, but I got myself a My-Th Driver today. I'm really enjoying the show so far and having this will add a nice incentive for future conventions to go Egg hunting.

i love that Rob Renzetti said this was completely accidental but doesn't deny that is absolutely true gave his blessing to the community to adopt Jenny as trans. Which means that at some point in writing they were like "how do we make her relatable to teen?" and the answer was "give her dysphoria".

#tadc One of the saddest things about Jax’s abstraction is that she seemed panicked when she was interrupted the first time in episode 7, heart racing, like a close call with death… and that still didn’t deter her from going through with it again later. She was just so deeply haunted by her demons.

she gets around, and gets people around

Three panels depict a hand rising from a portal, Tikal the Echidna emerging further from it, and finally Tikal mostly exiting the portal, scratching the back of her head while looking down at the viewer with a wry, toothy smile. She's staring with round, circular irises with pupils like pinholes.

Her text reads:
"Tell me.
"What is your favorite means of travel?
"Car? Train? Plane? Portals? No, no. Quite inefficient.
"Let's try throwing."

Incoming Kamen Rider My-Th speculation: Me, trying to sleep, reflecting on how fun Episode 4 was, thinking about the weird cuts between which of the two kids actually grabbed the belt, thought about the term "Schrödinger's Cat" then realized "oh my god it's BECAUSE the word 'Cat' is in it!"
