Hey authors fancy doing something fun for Halloween text in the alt description
Hi
Every Halloween week, Ginger Nuts of Horror likes to do something daft. This year it's the Halloween Author Interrogation: five silly questions sent to a batch of horror writers, with the best answers run together in one piece on Wednesday 28 October. We'd love you to be one of the accused.
There are no wrong answers, only answers your publicist might wince at. Answer as many as you like (three or more is perfect), and keep each one short, anywhere from a sentence to about 100 words.
	1.	You're allowed to keep one cursed object from horror fiction or film. Which one do you take home, and what everyday job do you put it to?
	2.	Which horror death would be the most embarrassing to explain to your mum?
	3.	Your house is haunted, but the ghost only has one complaint about you. What is it?
	4.	Which horror villain would make the worst flatmate, and what does the first passive-aggressive note you stick on the fridge say?
	5.	A demon offers to write one scene of your next book in exchange for your soul. Which scene do you hand over, and is it worth it?
Along with your answers, please send:
	•	A one-line bio
	•	Your latest or upcoming book, with a link
	•	An author photo we can use
	•	Your social handles, so we can tag you when it goes live
The deadline is Friday 16 October. Just reply to this email with your answers.
Thanks for playing along. It should be a lot of fun, and a nice way to get your name and book in front of our readers in the scariest week of the year.
Best wishes,
Jim McLeod

Cover reveal!! With gorgeous artwork by Trisha Srivastava, THE FROG PRINCE is published by Putnam Books and hops into bookstores on 22nd June 2027 🐸👑
Cover for The Frog Prince by Lucy Lapinska. Cass, a thirty something blonde woman, puckers up to kiss a cute looking frog sat in her hands You Have to Kiss a Lot of Frogs to Find Your Prince!
Thirty-something, unemployed, and living in the shabby home left to her by her beloved dad, Cass Gabriel knows better than anyone that you have to kiss a lot of frogs betore you can expect your prince to come along. She just ... takes it more literally than most. But what she doesn't realize when performing her annual good luck tradition by the back garden pond is that sometimes wishes really do come true, in the way that you least expect.
Because this new year's kiss triggers something impossible when a small, ordinary-looking frog explodes into a man.
A very naked man. And one who announces himself as Dahlan Anura, Crown Prince of the Seventh Kingdom.
Looking atter a real prince charming who has been transplanted into a Nottinghamshire housing estate is one thing. Falling in love with him is quite another. And as Cass, her best friend Kori and their motley crew of friends and family learn, the road to a fairytale ending is never entirely straighttorward.
