Rodenticides are cruel, and kill non-target wildlife such as foxes, badgers, otters and birds of prey as well as rats and mice. Almost 25,000 of you have written to DEFRA minister Angela Eagle asking her to ban rodenticides in the UK. We need to keep the pressure up!

I don't think we disdain the center-right enough. First, they rode nativist populist tigers to power to get their tax cuts and deregulation; Then, they lost control of their own parties to those tigers; Now, they sit in lucrative jobs as columnists writing about how it's all the left's fault.

This is so nasty and cruel. You can't just evict people for no reason but if the government managed to do this you'd have an extra 230000 homeless people in England seeking temporary accommodation. Are councils supposed to keep those people in TA forever while the main housing duty is set aside?Clowns

Govts use fiscal rules to push privatisations and public spending cuts. Rules suspended during bank bailouts. Rules are not accompanied by social goals e.g. full employment, reduction in poverty, reindustrialisation, public ownership of vital industries. Must suspend them to rebuild UK economy.

Andy Burnham can’t transform the country while sticking to the current fiscal rules
Sticking to the 2024 election manifesto and fiscal rules will make it harder for him to deliver the headline promises and the change that he has paraded.

Four-winged flying fish (tropical oceans) are remarkable they do not actually fly, but instead glide above the water. Using both their enlarged pectoral and pelvic fins, these fish can reach speeds of 70 km/h and sore up to 400meters in this in a single sustained flight to escape predators.
