This is akin to complaining about NATO bombing Serb forces during the Bosnian War because the Bosniaks and Croatians were also committing war crimes. We know Hamas are deplorable, but framing Israel's actions as some sort of police action against terrorists is a framing that minimises its crimes.

Blown away that flydubai aircraft landed intact. It probably helps that the flight was presumably pretty coordinated compared to more normal high altitude upset scenario. The data's still pretty fuzzy, but it might be the highest descent rate recorded by a surviving airliner

It's kinda crazy how much data is going to be moving around a tank in the near future. The line between APS and ERA is going to blur, you'll have ISR drones if things are going well, you'll be covered in sensors, and these seem like really challenging human factors questions

My higher-ed reform policy is basically: 6 year undergrad, big cheap state schools, let professors fail a lot more students, throw enough money at all the other problems this creates. Failure is normal, you do not need to worry about scholarships

It's not a *perceived* difference when it's actually an enforced policy! And it looks to me as if that difference does bleed into the quality of work produced by the fields themselves. It's not inherent to the underlying knowledge, to be sure.
