For the record, I'm like 90% certain this woman has never been to Israel. For two decades she talks all about everywhere in the world she's been, but not mentioned going there. And she always reminds me of her citizenships. She does not have an Israeli passport. This is extreme radicalism.

She also said I was lying that none of my Jewish friends are pro Israel and that they are all anti-zionist. I'm unclear if she doesn't believe I have Jewish friends, or if she thinks I'm lying about them being actively and openly against apartheid and genocide. Either way it was a wild few minutes.

She accused me of being "just like" her daughter. And I said "good! Your daughter is smart." She was so angry. "My daughter is Jewish because I'm Jewish! And that means she's Israeli!" I pointed out that's an incredible leap. She got angry again. She was so, so angry.

An additional wild thing is she got mad at me for discussing religion. I was like "you brought up the subject, and I keep telling you that Israel is not a pillar of Judaism. They are not one in the same." When I told her not to bring up subjects if she couldn't have a discussion, she FUMED.

Turns out one of my longtime clients is a crazy zionist who insisted at my desk that there's no such thing as a genocide of Palestinians. She called me racist when I said zionism and Judaism are not the same. And then she got angry and said she was recording our conversation. Record away, bitch.

I had a fun three week period where the friend I talk to about things died, then two weeks later the friend who abandoned me 5 years ago randomly texted and I wanted to talk /joke about it but to whom? And then my childhood best friend died a week after that. I'm very over this summer.

Like it's literally just until the stitches are out. He stitched so aggressively my hand had no rest for a week. If I relaxed it PULLED and fucking hurt. Anyway. We'll see.

When I meet with him before surgery, I'm letting him know that I will NOT be consenting if he once again tells me to take Tylenol or whatever over the counter bullshit he suggested last time. I don't know what it was. I had a note. I bought it. It did less than nothing. I don't need that pain.
