Demand for EVs in Ontario is down, and it's no surprise. Ford's policies have undermined the EV market at every turn. The Ontario Greens would bring back the EV affordability rebate, and build the charging infrastructure needed.

Overnight the Ford government secretly advanced legislation that will make FOI requests - the main way you and I find out what Ford is up to behind the scenes - dramatically more restricted. Today, they will force a vote to make it law. This is completely undemocratic. What have they got to hide?

All across Ontario municipalities large and small are facing many of the same challenges. I'm at ROMA today to learn how the healthcare shortage, housing crisis and lack of infrastructure funding is hitting rural communities hard. You deserve better from the provincial government.

The housing crisis is affecting every community in Ontario - today I learned how groups in St. Thomas are working hard on solutions. Grace Cafe and the Annex are fighting the homelessness and opioid crises with compassion by providing free meals and social services for mental health and addictions.

Companies like Volt Carbon Technologies are proving that Ontario has what it takes to become a world leader in the green economy. I got to visit their facility here in Guelph, Solid UltraBattery Inc, to see how they're making cleaner and higher-quality graphite to be used in cutting-edge batteries.

I’m catching up with votes from last week. On Thursday I voted against the government’s omnibus red tape Bill 56 because it weakens protections for clean drinking water, further weakens protections for endangered species, and removes speed cameras, which evidence shows save people’s lives. 3/3
