after a shooting on campus my university released a slogan on how we were "strong" and asked faculty to be volunteer therapists. specialists told us, at a workshop, that those are all harmful responses. they also suspended and fired people who wanted to reschedule events so they could grieve.

It’s a badge of honour for @bylinetimes.bsky.social to be banned from Reform and Conservative conferences - like being banned by Russia or China, it says more about them, than the journalists. Also, so ironic that the parties which waffle on about freedom of speech are the most scared of it.
