Today I stifled a laugh that turned into a wheeze cry on the bus. Then I gasped to laugh so hard I choked somehow. And lastly I laughed so good I melted to the floor. Community helps heal for sure.

Report: Average Male 4,000% Less Effective In Fights Than They Imagine
WASHINGTON—Contradicting the long-held belief that they would just go off and destroy anyone who tried to mess with them, a Department of Health and Human Services report published Thursday revealed that U.S. males would be on average 4,000 percent less effective in a fight than they imagine. “Despite the typical American male’s conviction that he would viciously beat down anyone who came at him and end the whole thing with one punch, we found that in the event of an actual violent altercation, most adult men would almost certainly injure themselves far worse than any assailant,” read the 80-page report, which went on to confirm that nearly all American males would be unable to execute a single maneuver they envision themselves capable of performing, be it an uppercut, a roundhouse, or grabbing an opponent by the back of the neck and smashing his face down into the bar. “Predictions of being amped up on massive adrenaline rushes or having multiple friends jump in to back them up are similarly unfounded, with over 75 percent of confrontations instead projected to end with panicked apologies or pleas to be let out of a headlock.” The report stated, however, that the majority of men correctly estimate that such fights would last a total of six seconds.

A swastika t-shirt is the only item on the Yeezy website. Powered by Shopify. It's not the first time Shopify has powered stores selling items with Swastikas. I've reached out to them about this before, and they kept powering the stores. The only thing they changed, eventually, was their rules.
Image shows the Yeezy website with a swastika t-shirt for sale as the only item on the page. It also shows the website source code, which has the "shopify" mentions highlighted. There are 127 matches.

A reminder that fiction — books, film, games, what have you — is always political. The willful absence of “politics” in any work is itself a political choice and a political act. Who gets to tell (and sell) stories is political. It might be an undercurrent — covert, not overt. But it’s there.

So, after getting distracted on the search for which archive shot to use (+2 hours!). 😅 This is my #BlueSkyArtShow #Light offering! Beacons in the Night #✨ My first time there (2018), and it was a feast for the camera! But you have to watch the weather and be ready to run out with the #📷! 🌬️🌧️🌤️
A night long exposure photo at night:
From top to bottom, a dark blue night sky with many small stars, and The Pleiades cluster. There are hints of light clouds that are lit on their under sides by town lights nearby with a light orange color. Most of the right side of the image, to to bottom, is a nearby tall lighthouse. It's bottom can be seen fully lit, and with a dark white appearance to the main tower, which is featureless except a window high up on the towers left edge, facing away from the viewer.
Above the high window is a dark painted circular rim around the upper tower. Above that are evenly spaced recessed alcoves, 6 can be seen from this point of view looking up. Above that is the bottom side of the upper circular catwalk around the light house beacon room and it's big bright windows. The catwalk railing can be seen in contrast against the brightly lit beacon room. The beacon room appears as a very uniform high brightness, with no details visible. The beacon light cannot be seen directly from this viewpoint. On top of the beacon room is a darkened roof cap with a darkly lit rail around it close to the curved roof edge.
The rest of the image to the left is a broad dark swath of night sky dotted with many stars, almost all the way to the bottom of the image. Far moving clouds mask some of the sky in the same hue, and soft light from the town lights over the hill. Congratulations also notable in the stars, Taurus part way down on the left between clouds, and Orion rising over the dark trees at the bottom of the image. A curious thing in the darkened trees at the very bottom of the image is a wide bright band of light from the lighthouse beacon passing across the trees due to the long camera exposure. In the bright light the trees green pine bows can be seen.
