I saw people JOGGING. Voluntarily, not because a bear was chasing them. I was malfunctioning just walking down the street in the shade. 020

While I was revising Adrift, BC experienced the worst wildfire season in history--it has since been topped. Summer weather now regularly includes "smoke". I'd never experienced this in Vancouver prior to 2017 020
