Elfie: A Sand Plan is a super relaxing indie puzzler that has this great DS-game vibe while being absolutely adorable. It takes quite a while to ramp up but as somebody who usually bounces off of puzzle games, I appreciated that, and the tone is so comforting that it feels like a warm hug.

tried order of ecclesia and it's actually crazy how much more immediately considered its approach to attack anims is. you can land cancel but not jump cancel, so going in for a punish is easy, but mashing too hard will get your ass beat, which the first boss immediately establishes. Game Design!

Some sprite work from earlier in my game's development that I still really like.

I end undergrad talks with the annoying 'comics advice' of: you have to sleep, you have to eat, you have to move your body in whatever way works for you, you have to engage with the world outside of your desk and outside of comics entirely. sleep is the foundation!! you can't compromise on that!!

I want to once again remind people that Muchi Muchi Pork is fucking awesome.Go play it, can play it on MAME or Xenia if you cant afford the port. The reason people love the Ea-nāṣir story is less the vitriol and more the fact that we couldn’t be more culturally different from a 4000 years dead Sumerian but we can totally relate. It shows us that no matter our superficial differences people are just people.
