The Navy is reportedly getting ready to strip the USS Doris Miller of its title, and may even be renaming it to the USS Donald Trump. The change is just the latest effort from Pete Hegseth to erase the anything deemed “DEI.” Miller is an American hero. His service will not be erased.

I hate that we have let the nastiest racists on earth define and redefine our language. From "woke" to "DEI." Trump's policies are not anti-DEI. They are racist. US firms did not abandon DEI policies. They fired competent black women in droves on the basis of race and sex.

The FCC is floating the idea of making shows put up a warning if they include or discuss trans people and trans lives. A short paragraph objecting to this would be helpful! The deadline for comments is May 22: www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings...
In a Public Notice released on April 22, 2026, the FCC is asking Americans to submit comments about whether the TV Oversight Management Board (TVOMB) should create new TV ratings to alert viewers to “transgender and gender non-binary programming” and “the discussion or promotion of gender identity themes.”

A Texas school district has banned HOW LONG TIL BLACK FUTURE MONTH, along with over 1500 other books. Mine was kicked bc it's labeled for adults, which is true. But so are every one of my books, which are available in most schools. That's the only one with "Black" in the title, tho.
