Naylor on feeling the fan support even while he's been struggling:
"They're awesome. They're unbelievable. Like I remember, maybe a few days ago I hit a line drive and got out and I was 0-for-3 on the day and I heard some fan - and I try to block out a lot of things, but I heard some fan, 'oh, keep your head up, you're good, you're the best.' And I was like, damn, thank you. I appreciate that. I'm not the best right now, but I do appreciate that."

"This fan base is so awesome. They're just through it with you, through the whole season, the ups and the downs. And when you are up, it's even better, because this place is electric. You can feel the energy in the ground go through your body. It's so cool. They're so loud, enthusiastic, supportive. You can't not love Seattle fans. They're the best."

DO NOT: - Say anything at all in the back of a squad car. There’s a camera + mic up by the rearview mirror. - Say anything in your holding cell. - Chitchat with the police. Small talk is a tool they use to get people talking and off their guard. - Leave your tattoos uncovered when doing crime.

Tech has long since passed the point of solving problems or even making life more convenient. It's just throwing crap against the wall to see what will stick. And now there's crap all over the floor and the wall.

I'm old enough to remember when the narrative was that the US was solving the climate crisis and China is the problem because it uses coal. Now the narrative is that China is solving the climate crisis, but this is bad, while the US is currently denying that climate change is even a thing.

If you needed further evidence that “laziness” is so ill-defined that it’s largely meaningless, consider its use here. Gen AI makes producing content LESS laborious. It takes the effort out of the process. So how would rejecting Gen AI be lazy? It’s not. She’s just using “lazy” as a vague insult.
