In this thread from a few months back I had a stack of replies from Claude addicts explaining how they can basically now generate a new piece of software every time they need something, and they did not see that as a bad thing at all As always: they're making digital single-use plastic

Plaid Cymru has long called for greater powers over areas like policing, the Crown Estate and rail. The Prime Minister has said today he's open to seeing greater devolution to Wales. That's the difference having a Plaid Cymru Government that stands up for our nation makes.

Plaid Cymru has been clear that Wales needs more powers over rail, the Crown Estate, justice and policing. That’s the mandate we were given by the people of Wales. We stand ready to work constructively with the new PM who should respect that mandate and deliver for Wales.

Most tragic things about AI: the folks who should push for democratization of AI tools, which is the real battle, are too focused on denying AI itself to do that. There are many potential issues (and wins), but frontier models available only to the rich is one of the worst.

At this point, I think the entire publishing industry needs to have a serious conversation about the degree to which the last 15 years have increasingly seen book promo become an online venture, and what that means now that entire social media and digital platforms are getting torched overnight. 🧵

Don't test implementation details
One of the biggest roadblocks I’ve personally run into in testing JavaScript—the thing that grinds my testing process to a halt—is fretting over implementation details and code coverage. Today, I wanted to talk about why they don’t matter. Let’s dig in! This article is part of an ongoing series of JavaScript testing. In past articles, we looked at buildless testing, an overview of testing approaches, how to write unit tests, how to organize tests, and TDD.
