New study by Werner et al. quantifying impact of model resolution for large-scale ice cover modelling (e.g. Icefields) with IGM. doi.org/10.5194/tc-2... We find coarse resolution creates much bias and impact of increasing res. on ice volume and speed is non-linear: more of a step-wise function
