On 16 September 1982, Lebanese Phalange militiamen allied with Israel stormed into the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps in Beirut and massacred over 3,000 civilians. Israeli troops surrounded the camps, and allowed the militias to kill for days. 44 years later, no one has been held accountable.

And the owners with strict ideas of what they need a dog to do often end up rehoming or giving a dog they couldn’t get to do what they want into rescue. Merlin is 15 and from 5-7 when we first adopted him was all about re warding his good choices, a long commitment

He is literally the best dog in every way, we basically focused on trust & to train things that would make his life better like accepting grooming & leaving bad things/dropping on command. Behaviorist even said you can reward your dog for making choices you like but you can’t *make* them do anything

Oh yeah they can lean towards bratty, lucky mine are quite polite most of the time. They definitely enjoy barking as loud as huskies at the wildlife and alerting us to any movement including kids on bikes all the way up the block if we don’t pull the curtains 🙃 self appointed watch dogs
