I don't want to ask anything from s3 and much less anything concerning Míriel because I know I'll end up disappointed, but oh how I'd love it if they acknowledged the reverence the Faithful feel for her after the trial, not only those with her next season, Elendil's army too

Writing again thanks to Hellghoul Week! So happy/relieved/excited 😭🥳

White text over an image of a forwat at night lit by flames.

“Someone pursues you? Theo,” she calls over her shoulder, “was there another behind you?”

“No, mam,” Theo mutters, eyes only for the stranger whose pale skin almost glows in the firelight as she peels the madder-dyed hose away from her leg wound, hissing at the sight and likely from the pain of the motion.

“None pursues me,” she replies. “It is the opposite.”

Unsure what to say to that, Bronwyn sets the threaded needle onto the table and reaches to touch the outskirts of the gash, arrested when the woman moves faster than thought, hand darting to grasp her wrist in a tight hold. Bronwyn sucks in a breath, freezing in place.

“The door first.”

Theo makes a stifled sound, but Bronwyn only has eyes for the one who holds her fast as she says, “Bar the door, Theo. Then fetch me the boiling water.”

A POET HERO! i'm in love with this description of arondir 🥰

"Arondir is, as always, a poet hero,'
,." Cruz
Córdova said. "He carries his compass and his true north: dignity, discipline, and love. We are going to have much more of that." Will he survive the increasingly brutal war consuming Middle-earth? Cruz Córdova carefully avoided confirming or denying anything, but the answer as almost a spoiler: "My friend, I haven't swum this far to drown at the shore," he said.

When you think about it, Galadriel's not the only one who sacrifices something dear to make the Rings. Elrond gave over his mithril, a gift from Durin and important memento of their relationship. So much love goes into those Rings in addition to obsession and deceit. #TROPRewatch
