I hope this leads to some actual punishment for the decision makers, not just lower ranked scapegoats. (Read Pete's book for why this needs to be the moment that commercial interests and their government enablers are brought to account and their peers scared into giving a shit about human lives.)

What AI is very good at is simulating the process of being a commissioner; you get to make arbitrary changes, and the creatives have to go away and make it work, and then you get to take all the credit. So maybe TV commissioners could be replaced by AI.
