Went to #anthrocon this past weekend and helped run the indie-retro booth in the game room. Felt inspired to draw some quick furry (and a bit Lackadaisy inspired) versions of characters in a TTRPG I run. A Honduran white bat ghosty girl, and a raccoon former thief.

My favourite of all of Supergiant's games. Even moreso than Hades Part 3v3 wizard basketball sports drama visal novel, part action game, all reactive to player choice. Defeat is never the end (it's just sports!), and a lot of the best story arcs come from making mistakes. Crank that difficulty up!

"Clair Obscur: Expedition 33" is one of the best JRPG's of all time. The combat is incredible and can lead to some crazy builds, the world is unique and surprising to explore, the story is beautifully told if not heartbreaking, and the performances and music are absolutely top notch. A masterpiece.

Saw this version of the final Calvin & Hobbes online today and… if you can’t tell what’s wrong with it, that’s a shame. But adding shade to the white wrecks the thing. Modern repro keeps doing this: colourising strips at a greater level of “sophistication” than originally printed, and wrecking them.
