Done and my room is much better than it was. This is what counts as better by the way. Sharing it to maybe help someone else feel less ashamed. This is ADHD in a single room. 😅

One other thing before I go to bed. Wes Anderson must have spent countless hours at this museum, right? Every display looks like something he might have designed for one of his films.

Did you know European badgers can be ginger? Eri, the erythristic badger, was my prototype #badger plush. She’s 65 cm long nose to bum, floppy and weighted and super cuddly! Looking for a home, perhaps at #dokomi 👀 See thread for closeups of the paws. #handmadeplush #mustelid

The plush badger sits upright, seen up front. You can see the details of the sculpted paws and nose, all made of fabric.

Two handmade plush badgers lay side by side on a grey background. One of the badgers is ginger, the other the classic grey and black.

U.M. stands for Uncle Monster, because I grew up having a family friend who sometimes took care of me that I called Uncle Monster

People are rotated on and off of hospice because there’s no other reliable way to get certain kinds of care and support. Hospice adds on additional care support hours and visits. It adds easier access to narcotic pain medications. It reduces the need for unhelpful diagnostics. 1/

A pink and purple La Oof in full-length pose, showing the pink and purple sunburst on her tummy. She is smiling, because La Oofs are good-natured monsters meant as therapy toys for traumatized children and adults. They are extremely comforting to hug. I should know; I have several, gifted from my Grandma Binnell, back in the day.

humanity's enduring desire to make Little Guys is truly wonderful This is a clay pig. It has an angry little face with furrowed brows, pointing down and a huge curved back that leads seamlessly into the top of the head (no neck) like it's rearing up to charge. A very round piggy.

Bad people do not cancel out good people. You make work for your best audience not your worst. What you make matters and the people who need it will always get it and understand it. You and that audience are more than worthwhile of happiness and your creations.

Being an artist is so weird and scary because you have all these huge feelings to make art with but then you are supposed to be very cool and detached with how people might hate it but also constantly be a song and dance man shouting about how great it is and also you have to stay alive??

I don't feel like speaking directly at pitches that pose the idea that selling your art is a privilege b/c most aren't acting in good faith. But there are aspects of owning your work + making a living that Are a privilege- but the REAL TAKE is that owning your work should be The Standard.
