Vote Yes on this MN constitutional amendment. Don't skip the question. '“It’s an easy yes vote for folks because it doesn’t change your tax rates. It’s money that is sitting in this Permanent School Fund that is not being utilized effectively,” Schneidawind said."

Great historical perspective, as always, from @hcrichardson.bsky.social If you are not following her & reading her wisdom every day, you should. And if you have a few dollars to help the cause of intelligent insight, it would be great if you could help out. We need all the clear voices we can get.

SO well said by @drangelasutton.bsky.social "We won't get a better future because we don't care enough to build it." That's actually the crux of the matter, in so many ways.

@btarrington.bsky.social TBH with regard to the Edw Casey Stone in RI, I did have a hard time not saying bad things about a US soldier at Wounded Knee in 1890. That was a disgraceful exercise. Hard to find "balance" on that one, and, as a fellow historian, I know you know the challenge of fairness.

Indian country was hit hard by Covid. We all know people, like my dad, who died from it. We lost so many. Grandparents. Teachers. Medicine people. Veterans. Matriarchs. When the Moderna vax showed up at Indian Health Clinics across the country we lined up to get it. It saved lives. Thank you Dolly.
