I loved visiting the Shedd Aquarium as a kid. I remember sitting here, closing my eyes, and promising myself I’d work with animals one day. I’ve spent a decade studying animals and came back to Chicago for #SciWri25. I now write about the wonders of wildlife. Little Stella, we kept our promise.
