Looks like I have a new example to give to students when talking about different classes of shares. The reason this is remarkable, btw, is not because it is illegal or unethical. It is remarkable because, in most cases away from tech, investors would reject something over which they had no control.

But fundamentally, I think it's a failure to recognise that there are still standards out there that people expect him to keep and that when he does otherwise, to put this in 90s terms, all the average Australian sees is a sell-out.
