SCOOP: Mamdani did something even we are forced to concede wasn't what it we are also making it sound like, to no tangible gain, for a college he didn't go to, 15 years ago. Our anonymous source is political activist Adolf Hitler

Four very strange things: - Freelancer who is not a Metro regular as a lead byline on a City Hall story; - Opting to not name a polemicist source who's already been identified; - Opting to publish despite not getting in; - Opting to publish despite no repetition in any of his campaigns.

Time to start posting articles on here: everyone is asking if there will be a UPS strike so here’s my update on that. Negotiations broke down at 4am yesterday—O’Brien said the two sides were discussing part-time work at the time—and a strike certainly looks more likely than it did two days ago.

It’s official: the @teamsters.bsky.social have authorized a strike (by a 97% vote!). If UPS doesn’t deliver the contract they deserve by July 31, 340,000 Teamsters are hitting the picket line. Let’s fuckin GO
(WASHINGTON) – UPS Teamsters have voted by an overwhelming 97 percent to authorize a strike, giving the union maximum leverage to win demands at the bargaining table.

The powerful vote allows the UPS Teamsters National Negotiating Committee to call a strike should UPS fail to come to terms on a strong new contract by July 31, when the union’s current National Master Agreement expires. The Teamsters represent more than 340,000 UPS package delivery drivers and warehouse logistics workers nationwide.

“This vote shows that hundreds of thousands of Teamsters are united and determined to get the best contract in our history at UPS. If this multibillion-dollar corporation fails to deliver on the contract that our hardworking members deserve, UPS will be striking itself,” said Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien. “The strongest leverage our members have is their labor and they are prepared to withhold it to ensure UPS acts accordingly.”

CORPORATE CENSORSHIP ALERT ‼️‼️ Last week, Instagram banned our official national account with no warning and no answers. Here's our response -
On May 30th, we were alerted out of the blue that the official national
Starbucks Workers United Instagram account was disabled. This is an account with over 40,000 followers, many of whom are workers who get essential information about our campaign from this page - from how to organize their stores, to updates on strikes and bargaining. Community supporters also get news from this account, such as where picket lines and other actions are occurring.
At first, Instagram gave us absolutely no information, or warning, as to why this happened. Only after filling out numerous forms and talking with multiple Meta help center agents did we find out that Instagram blocked our account for
"pretending to be someone else," without any clarity on how to appeal this decision. It didn't say WHO they thought we were impersonating, but I think we can all guess who they meant...
This issue is bigger than our campaign simply losing a social media account.
This is a case of one of the most highly watched
