I looked at the obscene Grammarly “expert review.” It gave edits “from” Didion, Vivian Gornick, Teju Cole. All writers I teach. They weren’t bad. Opposing AI on “quality” is a losing fight. It can do stuff. The point is it *shouldn’t.* AI’s human owners are thieves. AI is their tool, nothing more.
