I am so sick of things going wrong... My brand new wheel hub from JC Whitney ate itself and my EBC brake rotor. I probably now have to replace my Brake Roter, Wheel hub, Wheel Bearing, and Axel Lock Nut. Fucking hell. I am not made of money.

Going to have to replace the other axel now. Have the parts, waiting on one tool... if this doesnt work, I dont have the money to redo the seals and the rebuild on the engine and transmission. (It has 178,000mi, it needs a rebuild. But a rebuild will get another 175-200k out of it.) She is worth it.

Seven months ago my car failed safety. I worked and rebuilt the control arms so that she would be road worthy. When I got that done I was road testing and the front right axel had had enough. 176,000 miles was too much for the bearings. 1/

Took the car out for a test drive... new noise i am trying to track down so I can fix. Passenger side half axel had an unscheduled spontaneous disassembly at the u-joint. God, I need to fix up this car bad. Still cheaper than a new one. But there is a lot of 17yo parts I need to swap.

When coming out of survival mode, at some point you start to actually want things again and it feels terrifying because you hid and minimized yourself for so long. The phrase "I would like" feels so oppressive on my lips, an imposition on people I feel grateful toward for simply keeping me around.
