It turns out a lot of the things you want to do in Photoshop can be done in GIMP. It simply requires a little bit of skill and a lot of patience and quite a bit of time to do so. Basically select everything not the fursuiter, desaturate, invert selection, saturate.

It works! Had to install the CPU fan into a pull configuration because its normal seating was obstructed by the memory. The LED memory. Going to upgrade it to Ubuntu 26.04.

At this point, it would be cheaper just to rent a car and drive up to ASC every day of the con. Yes, it’s a two hour drive each way, but I never let a drive stop me before. That’s how I did it when I used to go to the Prancing Skiltaire. It’s certainly an option.
