nah, you nailed it, he's all over the place. a lot of his stuff leans gross. The Rehearsal s1 was unwatchable, but s2 punches up & The Curse is... really something. very uneven, but the super-high-concept stuff + his recent ambition is raising more interesting questions about ~systems~ etc
