When a hero fails you, become what you wished he was for other people. It's ok for it to hurt, but never let that hurt eclipse the pain of the victims. Let it spur you to be the person they would have needed, because one day you might be.

After reading Terada and Nishino's interview I can safely say the headlines about Sega wanting ports are very interpretive. As far as they said it's the dev team who wants ports, not necessarily Sega as a whole, and they're trying hard to get it made. But I guess that doesn't make for good headlines

They don't love men they just hate women. It's not homosexual it's misogynistic. Even the "love" of all those figures is reliant on performance, not the man. If they stray from masculinity they're abandoned for someone else who lets them dwell in their power fantasy.

Not saying you have to only interact with fans who share your takes. That's no fun either. But if my feed is gonna be filled with discourse, I want it to be solely from people who are like smart. I'm not interested in arguing with people who can't even watch 8 episodes of Skeleton Crew.

Indirect call out but a lot of y'all on this app would be a lot happier if you didn't feel the incessant need to QT every single bad take you see. I am not interested in devoting my fandom to fighting with Andorks, Fandom Menace chuds, or Prequel meatriders on the regular. And neither should you.

Man, hatedom circles for a fictional character or media are probably the saddest corners of the internet Why waste your limited energy on hate when you can spend that time being passionate about something you actually like Unless you don’t like anything, which is a sad existence on its own

I think the Optimus Prime: Awakening short film has been done a pretty egregious disservice by marketing that primed people to expect "TFTM epilogue short film", a thing which it is not and is not trying to be, rather than "episode 0 of a larger future story", which is what it clearly actually is.
