"AI generated content is the future of video game development" That's cool, I'm set for life. I could never buy another game and still be set for life, and this is just the NES games. It took me a decade of practice to beat Double Dragon just by itself.

We should bring back "swallow their frame" for election counting. It's on the GOP to show evidence of election malfeasance, not on us to defend the idea that counting ballots takes time. Just say "they're trying to disenfranchise voters"

Hey AAA publishers, let me help you to sell those nice games of yours. Two steps to avoid videogame consumers backlash: 1. Do not resurrect dead celebrities in your game, especially those that were murdered. 2. Do not use generative AI in your game, in any area or part of the production. XOXO R.

Ah, shame, guess I’ll be sticking with the Dreamcast games.
From the Steam page for Crazy Taxi: World Tour,

Al Generated Content Disclosure
The developers describe how their game uses Al Generated
Content like this:
At SEGA Corporation, we utilize generative Al as a support tool for developers, aiming to provide better content to our users and enable developers to focus more on creative tasks.
We have used such generative Al support tools during development of Crazy Taxi: World Tour. No Al was used in reference to the performers in the game.

You used to be able to google the time of the sunset, and Google would give you the exact time right on top every single time. Thankfully, with artificial intelligence, you can now ask Google what time the sun will set and it will conveniently tell you "I don't know."

Book contains generated content that does
not belong to the author

When I see authors like
Choosing
to use generated illustrations, it makes me
believe they do not stand by their own product. I
would support the author if they paid for real
illustrated artwork- it is shameful since the story
could have been helpful to children going through
the same thing. Since the art is obviously
generated by artificial intelligence, I don't have
confidence that the written content belongs to the
author; The author chose to use generated art
and so the book content is likely to be generatec
as well. Invest your money elsewhere, this book
is not worth the price.

Some time last week I went into a Wal-Mart to pick up some chicken. My wife and I boycott the place around a year ago because it's a shit-hole and their prices don't justify the hassle. Nevertheless, I needed chicken and nothing else was open. So I made my way into the store. Every Wal-Mart now is a sterile, hospital like environment. The poor employees and customers looks all looked miserable. I've worked for Wal-Mart, I understand their pain. Those stores a horrible place to shop let alone spend 9 hours working in.

This is very good reporting that sheds light on just how small the extremely pro-Trump online right really is. The online right is totally astroturfed. The White House's own staffers are running meme accounts to make them look more popular than they are. www.wired.com/story/a-whit...
But this isn’t just a regular account. Johnny MAGA appears to actually be a White House staffer named Garrett Wade who works for the Trump administration as a rapid response manager, helping to run the very same White House account his anonymous MAGA account amplifies. A phone number associated with Wade is linked to Johnny MAGA, according to a WIRED review of publicly available records, and the connection was confirmed by a source close to the White House.
Wade and the White House did not respond to requests for comment. The Johnny MAGA account was created in September 2021, according to its X profile. (It originally used a different handle, which referenced Wade’s birth year, according to records reviewed by WIRED.) While the account’s earliest available posts focused on NFTs, it has been a consistent pro-Trump presence since at least 2022.
The operator of the Johnny MAGA account has not disclosed an official relationship with the White House while operating the Johnny MAGA X account. Multiple media outlets, including Mother Jones, TownHall, and the New York Post, have all linked out to posts on the Johnny MAGA account seemingly as organic reflections of public sentiment on political issues.

Why the @jamestalarico.bsky.social @colbertlateshow.bsky.social kerfuffle matters? It has to do with keeping Talarico’s message of what it means to be a Christian away from MAGA. @hcrichardson.bsky.social goes into detail around the 45:57 mark.
