We are having an epic argument about gold/the lack thereof in the family DnD chat, in character. Hubs is dragonborn barbarian, very attached to gold. He has none. I'm a dwarf paladin, and have just offered him pocket money...our High Elf 'leader' has just wafted in and the rogue is getting stabby.

We returned to Bill's restaurant for dinner tonight, and I think that was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. The flavours were *incredible*, and they have a really good veggie/GF menu. Yum!

We stopped at the York chocolate Works for a hot chocolate and a sweet treat. OMG, peeps, you should taste it. 50% cocoa, whole milk, real cream and marshmallows. And a gluten-free chocolate torte. I am HAPPY.

The Cat Cafe (The Cat's Whiskers in York) isn't quite the cat love-fest I was expecting, but the cats here are so clearly well cared for, and calm and confident, it's still quite lovely. It's wonderful to see them all chilled out and happy.

Visited York Minster, then got lost. I'm glad I remembered my painkillers! 7.3k steps in already (considering we're both Fibro Warriors, that's quite remarkable)

I'm at the station! Hubs and Freckles dropped me off; there was an elderly gentleman at the top of the stairs for plat 6, with a big heavy bag and everyone ignored him. Freckles went up to him and said "excuse me sir, may I help you?" and bought his bag down. I am very proud of him. #Humblebrag

My sister sent me a reel, witha woman on it basically saying If you had a parent who said 'if you're too sick for school, you're too sick to go out/play/etc', how are you doing being a person who can't do sick days, feels immense guilt over being sick, and can't rest even when sick?
