If I had to narrow it down to just one thing I’ve learned on the apps, it’s that straight men have staggering disproportionate levels of confidence vis-à-vis their physical realities. I know this is not news, but it continues to amaze and mystify, like seeing the northern lights but bad.

Yes, there are lots of negatives around the Pete Hegseth nomination -- the rampant alcoholism, the allegations of sexual assault, the hush money payment to an accuser, the total incompetence leading non-profits, and so on. But ask yourself: Does all that outweigh the total lack of positives?
