People need to know this is happening in US too. Go with your elderly parents to their doc appts and read the visit summary AI generated notes after. You'll see all sorts of errors, including stuff that facilitate med fraud as in notes claiming 2 Rx shots were administered but Mom only got 1, etc.

I've studied surveillance on a social level--that is: how systems watch and exploit people based on their observations. The worst outcome of that study is the sense that I can't say anything to anyone when things are bad. I can't trust anyone. I can't know definitively that no entity is listening.

Nearly 40% of incarcerated workers are paid *nothing* for their work. And the rest are paid at abysmally low wages. This is not a system built on "justice" for all.
