A thing that fills me with bilious anger: layoffs do not work. They are counterproductive, damage institutional knowledge, wreck lives, and demoralize remaining staff. They temporarily juice the stock value and THAT'S IT. We have LOTS of data that demonstrates this is true.

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-.
