The saga of the new tires for Curbstomper the Honda Fit while a pain in the ass, has made it clear that i am very tuned into my car from feel and sound, tho i dont understand initially what is wrong, just that something IS different.

the internet has existed for most of my life, and the consistent lesson i get is that humans are constantly yearning for connection with other humans that is missing in daily life due to very broken maladaptive systems that leeches into our interactions and prevents true connection.

i have been in the tire shop enough times in two weeks where i finally saw the one lady mechanic in this shop. i hope she is okay as i know what its like to be the one woman in a very man dominated job. these fucks better fix my shit better this time.

thinking about how specific animators would be leads on specific characters and how that was more akin to casting an actor to a character and how that probably gave senior animators more leverage and so of course studios stopped doing it and all characters got mushed into one style of motion.
