Doug Ford's office claims they edited the photo from #FraudFest as a "standard and routine practice. We were correcting for an orange hue." Sure. Absolutely. You betcha. Speaking of orange hues, #DougFord sure is sounding more and more like his role model to the south. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Hello from the cottage, where so far we have spotted 3 merganser families, a mallard family, and a LOT of Canada geese with babies of various sizes.
View of Cook’s Bay on Lake Simcoe through some scrubby bushes. If you zoom, you can see a big family of Canada geese. Mama merganser with 4 babies, 1 on her back, leaving a decent wake through the reeds. Different mama merganser with at least 10 babies in an orderly row behind her.

The entire Doug Ford government is chronically criminally corrupt. So that’s all anyone should be talking about until them and the criminal donors they all work for are removed. So there’s always going to be that, regardless of what anyone tries selling. #Ontario #Onpoli

Maybe on her way out the door Caroline Mulroney could spill the secrets her government is keeping hidden from the public as a way to offset some of the damage she did during her tenure.

Hmm… I see them at Lake Simcoe, too, where there’s bald eagles down at the southern tip of Cook’s Bay. Not in great numbers like out my way (most at the treatment plant at the western edge of CSSP) but definitely lots. But in Simcoe there’s loads of scrawling herons 🤩 and osprey too. I love it.

The 26-mile (42 km) long line opened to traffic between Stouffville Junction and Jackson's Point in 1877. The railway was included in the Midland System acquired by the Grand Trunk Railway in 1884. Most of the line was abandoned in the 1920s. 2/3

Conservationists ask: Will Ontarians spend $7 a year to save 88 species?
Nearly all species at risk in southern Ontario could vanish by 2050. A cost analysis of how to save them suggests the decline could be reversed if every Ontarian pitched in $7 a year.
