Kelly McCullough @kellydmcc.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I hear that. I run on dirt trails because my poor multi-surgeried knees can’t take hard surfaces and RSV hammered my lungs hard enough to knock me back from 9 minute miles to 12s for years. Kelly McCullough @kellydmcc.bsky.social · 01/10/2026It’s much easier to do as a relatively powerful executive. It’s also easier to do in a more compact ideological space. That said, I’d like to see it tried a lot more. I think one of the biggest failures of the Biden administration was not advertising success like their work on green energy. 2/2 130
Kelly McCullough @kellydmcc.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I think it helps. Constant repetition, savvy messaging, and taking credit for everything good that happens (whether you’re the administration that instituted the lawsuit or not) are all key to staying in the voter eye. I’m not entirely sure how well it would transfer to the federal level. 1/2 120
Kelly McCullough @kellydmcc.bsky.social · 01/10/2026This is worth a read. One of the core problems of creating and maintaining change is that voters as a group are not particularly willing to reward accomplishments or remember much longer than a news cycle or two. Object permanence for elections would solve a lot of problems. 184
