I think I just barely escaped a shockingly savvy scammer trying to get my bank credentials. First, whoever it was had my actual phone number, my actual bank, and the last 4 digits of my account. They sent a "was this transaction you" message that looked almost identical to the ones my bank sends.

it's a last minute construction job in peak build season. That's a decent sized crew, all working OT, that they know will be heavily televised which means strict adherence to safety standards. You do this shit for dust control and benign safety standards. It truly could not be more basic.

New frontiers in AI sanctions: ALL attorneys on BOTH SIDES of a case in the N.D. of Mississippi were thrown off the case for using AI. www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/u...
This matter comes before the Court on its own initiative. On December 10, 2025, the Court entered an Order to Show Cause [110] directing all counsel of record in this case to show cause as to why the Court should not impose sanctions against them pursuant to Rule 11 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the Court’s Local Rules, and/or its inherent authority for filing legal memoranda containing hallucinated case citations. The four attorneys, namely Kathleen M. Wilson, Shauncey Hunter Ridgeway, Kathryn Y. Williams, and Mark C. McClinton, appeared before the Court on January 20, 2026 for a hearing on this matter.

Warren Burger's response when a deaf lawyer asked for real-time transcription (at the lawyer's expense) when arguing before the Court (in a case about disability access!).
A memo from the Chambers of the Chief Justice on January 26, 1982, in the case of Hendrick Hudson Central School District v. Rowley:

"MEMORANDUM TO THE CONFERENCE.
"We have another 'first' under the attached material.
"Question: Is this different from a lawyer who can't understand English or who is a deaf mute and who, therefore, needs an 'interpreter' to convey our questions?
"The oral argument is for our benefit. It is not a right of a party.

I’m gonna fucking scream what the fuuuuuuuck.
Paragraph from page 2 of the above linked document from op

2. During this tumultuous time, when laws were being violated with impunity by
DOGE members and the SSA leaders who acceded to their demands, many loyal and hardworking SSA employees tried to hold the line and uphold the law. Jeremiah Schofield, a senior executive at SSA, was one such employee. Mr. Schofield interacted with DOGE
personnel and their adherents at SSA and witnessed firsthand their willful disregard for the law,
their disdain for SA's unique mission, and their disrespect for individuals privacy rights. He also witnessed the extreme and unlawful efforts that they took to enable the Department of
Homeland Security ("DHS") to use SSA data and SSA databases to harass, mistreat, and purge immigrants. As detailed below, and attested to in the attached Declaration, DHS directed SSA to mark as dead first thousands and then millions of individuals without any documentation that they were in fact deceased, in violation of the Privacy Act and SSA regulations, policies, and procedures. Mr. Schofield refused to carry out this directive, which SSA counsel advised was
illegal. Mr. Schofield was then privy to a conversation in which a DOGE member acknowledged that the reason that DHS was asking SSA to mark as dead these thousands then millions of people in SSA master databases was to force them to self-deport or to be captured when they
went to SA offices to try to prove they were alive. Such malevolent action is not only
reprehensible, but also illegal.

Ha. No. So the "laptop" was never just a laptop. They hacked my could and there were several stolen devices. The legally blind (I kid you not) repair shop guy turned over a hard drive to Rudy and his lawyer.
They (among others) then used that data l believe to hack into my cloud. They cobbled all of the disparate data together, organized it in sinisterly labeled folders and then distributed it first piecemeal through the NY Post and then ultimately put everything on the internet. Over 29 years of my digital footprint. I'd argue it the most egregious violation of privacy in modern politics. What they found was evidence of a man who suffered for a period of time from a severe addiction to crack cocaine and alcohol. What they did not find was anything to do with Bribery or foreign corruption or any crime aotside of those related to my drug use. Short answer I don't have "the laptop " - the whole world does and they've had it for 7 years

margin of error blah blah, but dem support for us existing declined a point more than independent lmao one might theorize that it's because democrats receive opinions from the party and independents do not, such that dem authority figures saying we suck is indeed Bad, Actually go figure
Currently, 5% of Republicans say changing one’s gender is morally acceptable, compared with 42% of independents and 60% of Democrats. When Gallup first asked the question in 2021, those figures were 22%, 48% and 67%, respectively. Republicans’ acceptance has declined steadily since then, while views among independents and Democrats were generally stable until an apparent drop this year.

Patriotism cannot be defined well enough to prevent it from devolving into a “No true Scotsman” purity test. One can never be patriotic enough, so one must always perform it harder. There’s no “I’m patriotic” without a “You aren’t patriotic.” Look at HUAC.
