The council moved the planters from the road side of the kerb to the side near the shop. I just spent 10 minutes conspicuously standing on the footpath to prevent someone parking 4 wheels up on the pavement, which is what the planters used to do. #dublin #footpathparking #activetravel

Time and time again, disabled people, carers and the services designed to make their lives easier, are left behind by govt budgets. Our Alternative Budget would change that. We want to invest in disability services so that people don't just see benefits in the short term, but in the long term too.

Tomorrow, the 15th March for Choice will take place in Dublin. That’s 15 years of calling for an end to this paternalistic view of reproductive rights. 8 years after Repeal, there are still too many barriers to abortion access. The Dáil voted to remove the three day wait, when will it happen?

I got the heat pump grant, which was fantastic. However, the problem with it is that it doesn't pay out until *after* you pay for installation and there's always a risk you won't get the grant for some reason. These schemes need to pay up front like solar panel grants so *everyone* can use them.

A significant contributor to the gender pay gap and the continuing financial disparity between men and women is the undervaluing of all of the unpaid care work done by women in Ireland. Women all over Ireland get up early, every morning, and go to work, unpaid and unvalued.
