-recall where the scene is from. I think one character is a brave type naturally, so saying that to the non-brave character has a fawning in the delivery? Just really cute voice acting if my memory is playing it right.

Does anyone remember a cartoon scene where a character (I think a girl), is excitedly talking about something that just happened and she says to the other character “and you, you were really brave.” There’s something about the delivery of the line that fully hit me last night but can’t-

It's bonkers how "User agreements" are actually binding contracts where one party gets to change them whenever and however they wish and the other party has the options to agree or to stop using computers.

Yep! An artist we know had a contract with ironclad delivery dates. The publisher ate up a full year of his work time with edits & rewrites, then expected him to draw 120 pages in 30 days or give back his advance.

Was looking at what other artists do & most do a platform for their newsletters, then repost the newsletter itself on Patreon or just post links to the newsletter. At first it just made sense to do it at Patreon for me… but then I worried about once again putting all eggs in single basket… 🫠

And yes I know this for a fact because I was playing Kingdom Hearts and didn’t even get to finish because I can only play it 20 mins at a time because button mashing destroys my arms for weeks at a time. Lunar isn’t a button masher but still… Gotta choose between playing or you know… drawing.

I know my friends are gonna yell at me about this but…. I have such a mighty need to play Lunar right now 😭 ugh. The ONLY reason I’m not is because sitting still hurts so bad (and my hands/arms get really bad using the control) so even playing video games has been really hard on me. Maybe soon 🫠🥲

I really do think tech crossed a line at some point between "helping you do the things you want to do" on the one hand, and "helping you do the things tech wants you to do" on the other. At this point, we're all contorting ourselves to live how the tech industry thinks we should be living.
