Off today for July 4th holiday and took off next week for Vacation. Going to get some rest, watch some movies, and try to straighten up the house. Also, an exterminator is coming next week to spray for water bugs, so need to rearrange some furniture and clear some spaces.

This is going to kill people. I work with folks who have more major psych diagnoses than the average population. Psychiatric meds are often a bit of a journey in terms of finding the right combo/dose, but they are very very often literally lifesaving.

It's always "fun" to find out new ways your body can attack you. This has been a hell of a week. What I thought was an ear infection, turns out to be a stone blocking my salivary gland down in my neck. It's infected. I was referred to ENT who cant see me until JULY but ended up going to ER yesterday

Looking for recs on per insurance. Gavin's plan is being discontinued and their suggested replacement isn't great. But switching to a new carrier is going to be tricky bc he would now have pre-existing conditions. He has a luxating patella and also had mast cell tumor.

I somehow reinjured my ankle by kicking at the sheets last night, and its been really painful to walk today. Putting the boot back on, hoping it resolves in a few days. Already discussed with doc that I need another surgery to fix the Achilles tendon. Waiting for next year when my dad retires.

Finally had the follow up with neurology today and it was just disappointing. After sending me a mychart message implying the MRI was really bad and treatment was very important, the doc acted like he didn't know what we should do. Eventually he just decided to up Gabepetin. I asked about back

I had a MRI of my back on Wednesday. Basically, I have 3 bulging discs, spinal stenosis, and neuroforaminal stenosis, all in the lumbar area. And then also compression of the S1 nerve. Doc said not an emergency but that I needed to not miss my appointment bc I did need treatment soon. 😫
