I accidentally started a shit storm on Facebook because I mentioned the time some “anti-woke” dumbass tried to argue that Frankenstein didn’t have political commentary. A bunch of people are either insisting it never happened or arguing that he was right somehow. It’s amazing to watch.

If your healthcare provider won’t let you bring someone with you for emotional support they’re an asshole. We have so many patients who bring a partner, parent, friend, etc. to their appointments and they’re always afraid we’re not going to let their support person in with them. 😢 Of course we will!

Had a former patient call the other day to tell us they were one year sober. They said that we were the only people who made them feel like a human being when they were at the height of their addiction. 😭

A photo of a gray cat in front of a pink pie chart. On the top it says “Things that bring me joy.” The pie chart is divided into five sections that say: Going home to my cat, thinking about my cat, watching my cat enjoy a treat, rotting in bed with my cat, and talking about my cat.

I love going to haunted house attractions! There was one in Pennsylvania that was in the basement of an abandoned hospital and had excellent production values. The guy in front of us got so scared that my mom had to hold his hand through the entire haunted haunt. 😂

Went apple picking this weekend with my lovely wife (who took the picture of me).
A light skinned person smiling at the camera and wearing a light green, floral patterned off the shoulder sundress with little ghost on it. They are standing in an apple orchard wearing a black sun hat, purple glasses, and with a black purse slung over their shoulder.

I’m so annoyed. I told my doctor dad that GLP-1 has caused me nothing but issues (food aversion, severe constipation, vomiting up everything I eat, losing weight too fast, getting a blockage in my colon that required the ER) and his only response was to ask when I was going back on it. 😡

I’m currently obsessed with this farming sim game. It’s like Welcome to Nightvale meets Lovecraft meet Junji Ito. The horror elements are really well done and I like that there’s turn based combat. Some characters include a talking cat, a giant skeleton farmer, and a bunch of tentacle faced cultists

Jeremy here was arguing that only men can do “hard” jobs like fixing things (because biology or something?) therefore women “need” men. I pointed out my wife just fixes anything we need fixed and Jeremy responded with this. My wife is literally employed as an engineer 😂
A Facebook post by a man named Jeremy in response to a person named Morgan (me) which reads “ok and? Is your
wife a lineman? Fisherman? Oil rig worker? Farmer? Deep sea welder? Engineer? I can go on.
Yes, we know. Your wife can an disconnect and reconnect a pipe and apply a shark bite. I bet she can install a 110v outlet. You people are purposely missing the entire point to purposely play ignorant to the conversation.”
